Gone are the times where only kids would line up at the theatres to watch animated movies. Adults today are more than ready to see the sequels of the movies they used to watch as kids and also other movies because, at the end of the day, animated movies are meant to make you feel good. There have been many movies like Zootopia which everyone has enjoyed and who can forget the popular Madagascar series. Even in 2017, we have movies like the Boss Baby and Coco which keeps our interest in animated movies alive. Without wasting time, let’s get to the biggest animated movies we are looking forward to in 2017.
1. Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation
The Dracula is back and this time he is going on a vacation aboard a Monster Cruise Ship with his friend. He falls in love with the ship’s captain Ericka whose lineage will not be healthy for him.
2. The Incredibles 2
We have waited long enough for this one. With the latest teaser, we cannot wish it was 2018 already. The Incredible family is back and it just keeps getting better. There will be definitely more adults queuing for this one.
3. Madagascar 4
This franchise doesn’t seem to leave us alone. We have been moving it with the animals since the first movie and even the Penguins made us adore the franchise even more. After waiting for half a decade since Madagascar 3, we get the fourth movie in the franchise.

4. Gnomeo and Juliet – Sherlock Gnomes
The garden ornaments are disappearing and Gnomeo & Juliet have recruited Sherlock Gnomes to solve this case. With actors like Johnny Depp, James McAvoy and Emily Blunt voicing the characters, the movie cannot go wrong.
5. Wreck-It Ralph 2 – Ralph Breaks the Internet
We have heard about news and posts that might break the internet, but it is Ralph who is going to do that. The movie is set six years after the events of the first one and all the fans cannot wait to see Ralph back on screen.
6. Paddington 2
The friendly bear is back in town. This live-action/animated movie brings our favorite bear on screen. The teaser has him trying to get a job rather unsuccessfully and although the movie has been delayed, we still wait for it with anticipation.
7. Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Benedict Cumberbatch voices The Grinch in this movie and honestly, that is reason enough for us to watch this movie. The story is familiar but it is his voice which will bring freshness to this tale.
