The anime adaptation of Sword Art Online: Alicization continues with the second part of the anime, War of Underworld. And now, the staff have revealed a new trailer for the series. It gives us a preview of the anime’s new theme song, which is titled Resolution, and none other than Asuna herself, Haruka Tomatsu, is singing it!

As previously revealed, Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld will premiere on 12th October via via Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and MBS. But before that even happens, the anime’s official website also revealed that a compilation episode titled “Reflection” will premiere on October 5, 2019. It will take a look back at the events of the previous season, and will also tease what will happen in this new season. Here’s the anime’s key visual:
Sword Art Online launched the anime’s Alicization arc in October last year. It adapts the Alicization arc from Reki Kawahara’s light novels, and it will be adapting the entire arc itself. Alicization is considered SAO’s longest story arc, having a story longer than the Aincrad, ALO, GGO, and Mother’s Rosario arcs combined. A-1 Pictures will once again be animating the project, with much of the original anime’s cast also returning to reprise their respective roles.
