SwimmyDesignLab has created unique interpretations of Gintama and classic anime characters like Astro Boy, Detective Conan, Urusei Yatsura, and Minky Momo. The brand’s unique design aesthetic reminds me more of meme-style images than official merchandise, especially in the company’s take of the popular Attack on Titan series.
The designs were created for Kuji Kore lottery’s line-up of goods, including a cleaning robot featuring Levi, a series of tote bags, coffee mugs, IC card stickers, and can badges. Display your derpiest Colossal Titan and Mikasa with pride! Or shamelessness.
The lottery launched on August 30 and will run until September 23.
Hajime Isayama launched the main Attack on Titan manga in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2009, and Kodansha published the 28th compiled book volume in Japan on April 9. Kodansha Comics publishes the series in print in English, and it released the 27th volume on April 9. The Attack on Titan 10th Anniversary Festival celebrated the hit manga’s 10th anniversary serialization milestone on September 9.
