Kana-Boon Rock Band’s Bassist Returns Home Safely

The official website for rock band KANA-BOON announced on Sunday that the band’s bassist Yūma Meshida returned home to his family on Friday evening. According to his family, Meshida was exhausted, but was unhurt.

The band reported on Thursday that they had been unable to contact Meshida since June 5, and Meshida’s family contacted the police to start an investigation into his disappearance. The band had cancelled a live event in Tokyo they were scheduled to hold on Saturday.

The post on Sunday added that the band will decide what to do with their future activities after monitoring Meshida’s condition and meeting to discuss the matter.

KANA-BOON formed in high school in 2008, and released their first single in 2013. They have released four studio albums. The group have performed theme songs for the Naruto ShippūdenBoruto: Naruto Next GenerationsMobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, The Perfect Insider, and Karakuri Circusanime series, and the Boruto -Naruto the Movie- anime film. Most recently, they are performing the opening theme song for the Sarazanmai anime.
